The 2025 NFL season heads into Week 6 with chaos at the top — and no undefeated teams remaining. Both the Eagles and Bills fell in tight games, leaving the Detroit Lions as the new No. 1 after another impressive win. Meanwhile, the Jets remain the league’s only winless team, continuing their slide after a rough loss to Dallas. Here’s how the top 12 teams stack up heading into the new week. 1. Detroit Lions (4-1)

Detroit roared to a 37-24 win over the Bengals, powered by Jared Goff’s consistency and a deep offense. Though WR Jameson Williams hasn’t hit stride yet, the Lions look balanced and battle-tested — a legitimate contender for NFC supremacy.

2. Buffalo Bills (4-1)

A 23-20 loss to New England dropped the Bills from the top, but Josh Allen and TE Dalton Kincaid continue to drive one of the most complete offenses in football. Kincaid’s breakout year is giving the Bills much-needed versatility.

3. Philadelphia Eagles (4-1)

The Eagles slipped after a 21-17 loss to Denver, struggling to find rhythm with A.J. Brown’s production dipping. Still, their defensive line remains among the league’s best, keeping Philly firmly in the contender tier.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-1)

Baker Mayfield’s resurgence has been one of 2025’s best stories. Even without Mike Evans early on, he’s led the Bucs to four wins behind a rejuvenated passing attack featuring rookie WR Emeka Egbuka.

5. Indianapolis Colts (4-1)

The Colts blew out the Raiders 40-6, cementing themselves as a surprise AFC powerhouse. Daniel Jones has been efficient, adding rushing value that’s kept defenses off balance.

6. San Francisco 49ers (4-1)

San Francisco edged the Rams in overtime, continuing to thrive even with injuries. Backup TE Jake Tonges has stepped up, keeping the offense rolling under Kyle Shanahan’s steady hand.

7. Green Bay Packers (2-1-1)

Coming off a bye, Green Bay’s defense has been stellar, ranking among the league’s elite in total yards allowed. The only knock? A lack of turnovers has kept their fantasy value modest.

8. Los Angeles Rams (3-2)

Despite an overtime loss to the 49ers, the Rams look dangerous. WR Puka Nacua continues to dominate with elite volume and chemistry with Matthew Stafford.

9. Denver Broncos (3-2)

The Broncos shocked the Eagles behind RB J.K. Dobbins’ 100-yard game — the team’s first since 2022. Sean Payton’s squad is finding identity and rhythm at the right time.

10. Kansas City Chiefs (2-3)

It’s been a bumpy start for the defending champs. Patrick Mahomes is still doing everything, but Kansas City needs Isiah Pacheco to find form to restore offensive balance.

11. Seattle Seahawks (3-2)

Seattle’s offense has been dynamic thanks to WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s breakout year. Despite a narrow loss to Tampa Bay, Geno Smith and company remain in the NFC hunt.

12. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1)

After topping the Chiefs 31-28, Jacksonville has momentum — even if WR Brian Thomas Jr. hasn’t replicated his rookie-year numbers. The defense is carrying the load while the passing game finds consistency.

The league’s middle tier remains fluid, but one thing’s clear — parity reigns in 2025. With no perfect teams left, every week feels like a playoff test.
