Week 4 of the NFL season features a compelling slate of games, from a transatlantic tilt to the season's first showdown between two undefeated teams. Here's a look at the essential storylines and key factors influencing three of the biggest matchups.

Steelers (2-1) vs. Vikings (2-1) in Dublin

The focus is on the Vikings' offseason quarterback decision as Carson Wentz starts for the injured J.J. McCarthy against the Steelers, a team that now employs the veteran they passed on, Aaron Rodgers. Defensively, the Steelers must stop big plays, a major issue as they've allowed a league-high 32 chunk gains. The Vikings' defense, however, is formidable against the pass, ranking third in the NFL.

Eagles (3-0) at Buccaneers (3-0)

This is the only matchup of 3-0 teams, but history favors the home side: Jalen Hurts is just 1-4 in his career against the Buccaneers. Philadelphia is flying in early to counter the humid Florida heat, which has contributed to past road losses in Tampa. Defensively, the Bucs' Todd Bowles has a history of confusing Hurts, and their defense will try to contain the "tush push" and limit the Eagles' attack.

Browns (1-2) at Lions (2-1)

This game pits the NFL's best defense against one of its most dominant offenses. The Cleveland Browns, led by defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, boast the fewest yards allowed per game. They face a high-powered Detroit Lions offense that ranks second in scoring and leads the league in red zone touchdowns (11). The key will be whether the Browns' stout run defense can contain the Lions' explosive ground game and avoid the "trap game" scenario.
