No Soto, no Ohtani — but this year’s MLB free-agent class is full of power bats, steady arms, and potential game-changers. Here’s a quick look at the top names and where they could land this winter 👇

Cody Bellinger (OF/1B) → MetsBellinger’s versatility and bounce-back 2025 (.272, 29 HR) make him a perfect fit in New York — especially if Alonso leaves.

Kyle Schwarber (DH) → PhilliesPhilly’s heart and soul just hit 56 bombs. Expect him back — unless the Mets try to steal him for revenge.

Ranger Suárez (LHP) → TigersSteady, underrated, and reliable. Detroit needs rotation depth and has money to spend.

Kyle Tucker (OF) → DodgersInjuries aside, Tucker’s the best bat available. L.A. has the budget and a hole in the outfield — simple math.

Framber Valdez (LHP) → OriolesBaltimore desperately needs an ace, and Valdez brings durability and playoff experience.

Eugenio Suárez (3B) → AthleticsA 49-HR season and veteran presence? Oakland could surprise again after last year’s Severino signing.

Alex Bregman (3B) → Red SoxHe fits Boston’s lineup and clubhouse perfectly. Don’t overthink it — just re-sign him.

Pete Alonso (1B) → MetsThe Polar Bear stays home. Too important to the franchise to walk.

Bo Bichette (2B/3B) → GiantsElite bat, new position. The Giants need offensive life, and Bichette brings it.

Dylan Cease (RHP) → CubsBig strikeout arm returns to where it all started. Chicago needs that firepower.

Zac Gallen (RHP) → D-backsTough 2025, but he’s their guy. Expect Arizona to keep him long-term.

This free-agent class might lack superstar names, but there’s real value here — and plenty of teams ready to spend. Expect the Mets, Dodgers, and Orioles to headline the action this winter.
